I am extremely disappointed, after having spent $130 on Parallels 18 and being so excited to set it up and start using it, I download the application and get my serial number ready to put it in and what am I greeted with? "Please sign up for your account now". I'm sorry what? Why the hell do I want to sign up an account? Throughout the entire purchase process from start to finish there was never a single mention EVER about having to create an account in order to activate the software. If I had known I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. I'm sick of these tech companies using the illusion of "Oh it's for your benefit" to farm everyone for accounts over and over and over again, just keep your hands off our bloody data. No, I will not open an account with you, I spent $130 with you already let me plug in my bloody serial number and move on with my life. Utter waste of my time and I cannot express how upsetting it is that this account requirement was never mentioned once to me. Total waste of my time and money, and an absolute clinical example of corporate tech industry user data greed. I'm extremely disappointed.

company said it would contact me after a complaint, but they didn't and my problem persists. It's sad to see that they have a good product but a lack of customer support

I’m trying to purchase but not sure which program I am supposed to get. I’ve tried to contact the company. There is no phone number and it’s almost impossible to get in touch to get help. I am hoping this will enable a real human being??? ?

Ein Fall für den Verbraucherschutz. Bei technischen Problemen gibt es keine Möglichkeit, mit dem Support in Kontakt zu treten.

Die Antworten hier von Parallels zu anderen Beiträgen sind Ironie pur: „Wenn Sie bereit sind, wieder mit unserem Support-Team zusammenzuarbeiten, würden wir Ihnen gerne helfen"

Nur leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit, mit dem Support zusammenzuarbeiten. Jeder Link führt ins Nichts! Es gibt keine E-Mailadresse, keine Telefonnummer. Ein Formular für habe ich gefunden. Hier die Antwort die per E-Mail kam:

Und auf der Support Page führt wieder alles ins Nichts.

I purchased sometime back parallels license for mac book pro and in Dec 2021 i switched off auto renewal on my subscription. Just now realised they continued with auto renewal at the end of 2022 also.

I have to say. There isn’t the smallest flaw with Parallels. Even from very begining M1 chip and Windows 11.
I use Windows 11 with Parallels on both Intel and M1 chips mostly In coherence mode. The only problem is software for ARM chips for Windows. Only limited amount.

I had a need to add Apple's iMac M1 desktop to our existing inventory of Windows desktops but with the ability to share our accounting system and data across ALL of the desktops. I purchased and installed Parallels with Windows 11 on the iMac along with the Windows-based accounting system and can now run the same application AND share data across ALL platforms! Parallels was easy to install, is incredibly stable and performs exceptionally well on the iMac M1. I'm a very happy Parallels customer!

Works out of box and integration is excellent.
In a nutshell, great level of quality !
As a product management and software architect, Parallels provides me with the ideal solution to build sandboxes to test different OSs (mainly Linux based but MS too) and tools (databases, dev and container virtualization, orchestrators, etc).

A very useful tool indeed. I was a bit sceptical, but this works better than a windows laptop. You can even map your favourite keyboard shortcuts. Install and forget option, allowing me to have a work session running in windows and personal session on the MAC.

It's very easy to install and set-up Windows 11 on Apple Silicon, it automatically pauses a virtual machine when it's idle to save resources and battery, you can suspend and resume a virtual machine and offers amazing integration between mac OS and Windows.

Parallels is an extremely easy way to access Windows-based applications on a Mac. We are a financial advisor using Charles Schwab to house client assets. We must be able to access Schwab's Advisor Platform easily and frequently.

I switched from Windows to mac about ten years ago. But I still have a bunch of apps that are Win only plus some coding projects that need the Win version of Visual Studio.

Without Parallels I would have had to have kept my old laptop and would not have enjoyed the speed that running Windows on a macBook M1 Pro offers.

The ease of setting up a VM.
I am a consultant and require the ability to simulate different environments to do proof of concepts. Ubuntu as a local server for running Projeqtor. Simulate multiple databases on different operating systems to test out Symmetric DS data distribution tool. Program development using OMNIS Studio on Mac and Windows.

i have a IMAC desktop but need to be able to use Microsoft Windows on my Desktop. Parallels let me seamlessly use windows on my IMAC desktop. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Parallels has over the years made the product not only more robust and reliable but has also made it more seamless in switching between OSes within the same laptop or PC. Their bundle apps are a real bonus and well worth the upgrade for any prior users.
